That can leave you feeling discouraged and vulnerable to ‘compassion fatigue' and 'vicarious traumatization'. Join with colleagues to explore options for following the advice "Healer, heal thyself." Discussion, experiential exercises, music, relaxation and energizing techniques. Leave the session with a renewed sense of purpose, better able to manage and enjoy the calling you have chosen to answer.

Rev. Edie Weinstein-Moser, MSW, LSW is an interfaith minister, licensed social worker, writer, speaker, reiki master and clown. As a professional and family caregiver who has worked in settings such as nursing homes, medical and psychiatric hospitals as well as visiting nurse and wrap-around services, she has first hand experience of the dynamics to be explored in the class.
